Welcome to Awakenings Counseling Center!
I’m Tiffany Dennis, a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and the clinical director of our Atlanta office location. I offer counseling for adult individuals & couples.
I specialize in working with people who experience anxiety and ADHD. I am an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP). This certification means that I have in-depth knowledge of the many effects ADHD has on a person’s mental health, relationships & more. I also help with non-clinical concerns such as building healthy self esteem, setting boundaries, being assertive and personal growth. My clients are typically “complex professionals”, who are professionals, as well as, entrepreneurs and/or creatives.
Working with me is educational, fun & interactive. I have an integrative approach to therapy. This allows me to create unique treatment plans for my clients, because I don’t believe people are one dimensional. I often use a combination of theories including: CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), Psychodynamic & Mindfulness. I regularly include creative interventions, if appropriate.
